Flu like symptoms...

Last night around 6pm I suddenly had a horrible sore throat. No warnings like a cough or anything. Then came the runny nose. Of course I had to be nosey and look around countdowntopregnancy.com and I found this:

"It may never occur to you that a runny or stuffy nose could be connected with being pregnant, but many women experience cold or flu-like symptoms in early pregnancy. This is due to higher levels of estrogen during pregnancy which can cause swelling in the mucous membranes throughout the body, including the nose."


I swear, if I said my pinky toe hurt it would be a symptom of pregnancy somehow. Now i'm obsessing over this sore throat and runny nose. I'm not sure if I O'd or not. According to FF I should of either Monday or Tuesday, according to my LilyPie ticker, I should O tomorrow. I have no clue. But now i'm freaking out about having a runny nose & sore throat and how it could be a "pregnancy symptom". Has anyone actually experienced this as a "sign" of them being pregnant?

With DD I was so sick and had the worst allergies and it was terrible. When Im preggo allergies are hard on me. I had the worst runny nose.

Now I caught DD's cold, are you around kids? Family? Because school just started we are all adjusting so it could be a simple cold.

I've had that happen in the 2WW with chills, extreme fatigue... and be nothing...

I haven't been around kids. No one in my family is young enough to still be in school. Its just freaking me out because it was so sudden! One minute i'm watching tv feeling fine, the next my throat is on fire! Then about an hour later I felt congested and my nose started running. I usually get that weird, unexplainable "oh no i think i'm getting sick" feelings before I actually get sick. I'm not really allergic to anything. I was thinking that maybe someone who comes to the tanning salon I work at could have been sick. But i've just never had it happen so randomly and quickly.

Its possible, even at the store you can get sick or at the gas station, anywhere really.

I know its so confusing and a PITB (behind)...
