Makes me really appreciate the cloth

All my dipes were in the wash and we had a series of outings today. Thought I'd throw on a disposable ... wrong. A leak, a blow out and several changes later I'm really really appreciating my cloth dipes.

I don't know if I'm disp. retarded or what, but I just can't seem to use them and not get leaks, rash, and totally annoyed!!

i am so happy to have found this forum. no one but cloth diapering mommies seem to understand how icky and ineffective disposables are. i use a disposable on lucy kate and i am confronted with rash-y tush and poop squirted up her back or out the leg holes.

I was having that prob (we use disposables overnight and on laundry days) and I found that I actually had to go up a size, to a size larger than he should wear according to his weight. Weird.

Haha.... Tim changed him first thing in the morning a couple days ago and I heard him in there going "Let's get you out of this yucky paper diaper!" He's been trained well.
