Diaper Changing
Do you have a hard tme getting your toddler to cooperate during a diaper change? How do you ease the process when they don't cooperate?

At least once a day Juliana fights me about this. Ever since she was little I kept this little giggle bug and a small book on her changing table and I will pull them out to distract her. But it is the one toy that never leaves the changing area. It usually works unless she has a bad rash and then I think she is just too aggrivated about the whole process taking place.

Oh gosh, yes. And it's typically when she's wanting to be elsewhere. Mia seems content sometimes just playing with another diaper. Others...it's a battle of "I don't want to!" tears but she always walks away smiling.

Yeah, Hailey does not want to take the time out of playing to be changed. I just have to tickle her and make her laugh so she'll stop fighting me. If I change her on the floor, she runs off naked, so we try to avoid doing that.

Ahhh, no diapees anymore. We only have sleepy diapees and she knows those go on with her jammies.

Changing Ernest's diaper drives me crazy....Usually I can calm him down by giving him something to play with or we sing to him...either one works and I am no where near as good as hubby when it comes to singing

Emily hates to sit still, and it'll drive me nuts! I just have to give her lots of toys/distractions. Yep, playing with another diaper is just not exciting anymore.....
