Now that T can open doors he doesn't want to stay in bed for nap. I had to put him back in there 3-4 times before he stayed. How do you do it?

Jumping in .. strangely, we've never had this issue. Dexter loves doors as much as the next kid, but he knows when it's nap time that he needs to stay on the bed and not get up. I'm trying to think back and I don't know if it's something we've told him .. I think he's always kind of understood that he shouldn't get up. I did think we might have an issue like that though .. and if we encountered this situation, we would have either put a gate on his door during nap time so he couldn't leave, or we would reverse the doorknob so it could be locked from the outside but not inside (but then I didn't know how I felt about locking my kid in his room, lol). Good luck !

We are still in cribs too. I don't think they will stay in their bed once we switch so waiting as long as possible.

Jocelyn is been in her toddler bed for quite a while but never gets out, its not something we have had to deal with yet.
