we had a list of about 4 names, after we saw her at the gender scan we immediately knew which name it would be

Since it was a boy we had it decided before I conceived. If it had been a girl we still weren't decided at 19 weeks when we found out the sex. With DD we decided right after we found out.

We usually figure it out for sure not long after the official gender scan. Before that DH won't discuss. Our 3rd took longer though for some reason.

Well... we were team green... so we didn't know if she'd be a boy or a girl. We picked out a boy's name around 37 weeks, and had it narrowed down to 2 girls names by the time she showed up. So we decided after she was born.

We had boy and girl names picked out before conceiving. J's name was going to be Kataryna Maxine but after we knew for sure she was a girl I couldnt shake the name Jacqualynne. It was gnawing at me bad LOL. Once I gave in and told DH the name he said that Jacqualynne Maxine didnt flow well so we added Annie to it. K's name was hard. We had her middle names almost immediately but the first name was a lot harder. I wanted Jasmyn so we would have Jackie and Jazzy but DH nixed that. I think I was around 30 weeks when DH came and said you know I still really like Kataryna and it felt right.

Not going to tell the girls that later though. K already has to deal with hand me downs without feeling like she has a hand me down name as well

me and DH are horrible with picking names.. we are both really easy going, and everything sounds good. poor michael didnt have a name til he was 2 days old. we had a couple of ones we liked but for some reason he just looked like a michael. (he almost was jeffison if we hadnt waited). with this girl, we really couldnt even nail any down until about a month ago, i think we are pretty set on one but i dont want to make it a definate til i see her. it just may not fit. also everyone keeps asking me and ive been telling them and it bugs me cuz i like to keep it kinda a suprise.

It was long before. We named him after my husband's father who passed away when he was 18. I never told him but always planned on picking that name if he agreed.
