Team cream is so exciting! How many surprises like that do you really get in life?

...I have no will power and had to know though lol Maybe baby #2 will be team cream :-)

I feel its a surprise either way. But being able to find early helps me bond, and prepare.

That's how I feel too. I didn't really connect with my last pregnancy til I knew it was a girl, could settle on a name, plan for THAT baby, etc. I feel like I can't do anything when I don't know. I'm not a fan of most gender neutral stuff because most of it looks either girl or boy to me still, even if it's neutral colours. We already have all the big stuff so the idea of going out and buying a bunch of boring, plain clothes doesn't excite me lol. I want to throw myself into the nursery and theme and be able to tell DD she's having a brother or sister to help her prepare, too.

And with the rough delivery I had last time I didn't even care to see if she was still a she or any of that, I was just glad it was over and she was alive. I'm worried if I have another difficult labour with a zillion people in the room, that surprise would be ruined. I barely even got to see her before NICU took her, it was just so much chaos I don't think I would've cared at that point whether she was a puppy never mind gender lol.

Also with my rough recovery i had, I was in no shape to do any sort of shopping and with this kiddo coming right at Christmas shopping time I am NOT planning on going out to buy stuff for the nursery or anything gender specific during the holidays. I'm not that crazy.

Hopefully this delivery goes much smoother, but if it doesn't I think I'd regret waiting to find out!

Yeah I called it team cream because I don't particularly love green as a gender neutral color. But I love creams and whites! And I can't call it team white so...
