Sex question! Of course. (Do I really have to put "TMI" here?)

Bleeding after sex... only had it happen once, around 6 weeks along, when I was pregnant with Alice.

About a week ago, I had it with this pregnancy, along with what I can only describe as cervical pressure for a few hours afterward. It was offputting, so I cut us off for the past week. Did it again today, and now I've got some bleeding again, had the cervical pressure feeling for another few hours.

Is this normal? Not normal? Should we put ourselves on pelvic rest here? I'm reading that cervical irritation happens more in the 3rd trimester, but I'm not sure if, since I obviously have it, if it means we need to completely stop or what.

I'll bring it up to the midwives eventually. They have their hands really full right now, and I tend to get the blow-off lately because I'm not in urgent need of anything.

That happened to me a few times... when I told my doc about it she put me on pelvic rest. Then again I was high-risk and carrying multiples.

IMO ... better to be safe than sorry.

Yeah, I've been asked to limit my walking because of the contractions, but I totally didn't think to ask about sex. I don't get contractions, but yeah...

Man... this is gonna suck.

I have to sit around AND I can't get laid. I really wonder if "sucks" is even adequate enough .

Hi:-)

It's probably nothing...the cervix is sensitive at times...it can happen. If it gets poked:-)
That can happen...I would still bring it up with the midwives though, just to be sure!
