Baby Acne

Anybody else's LO have baby acne?? Poor Oliver is broken out like a teenager going through puberty...

Yes and Antoinette has it all over! It goes away though I promise James had it until about 1 year then it went away

I'm trying to wash him down each night with a wash cloth and soap. It's helping with the redness, bumps are still there.

I may be wrong but ask your doctor because I am pretty sure that could get really rough on his skin and either make it worse or cause other problems. I'm pretty sure newborns should maybe have only 2-3 baths a week so that may be too much.

She is right. Try a very tiny amount of coconut oil - I really mean tiny - for the redness. It worked wonders for my cousins baby who had MAJOR skin issues and it always clears up my eczema in just a few days.

I was actually told just once a week at the hospital, but that might have something to do with it being winter in Minnesota too. Everyone's dried out!
