Cold?

Hi ladies. As luck would have it, looks like I'm coming down with a cold, and only 10 days away from having my c-section. I was planning on getting my flu shot today, but now I wonder if I should wait a few days. You know how sometimes you get sick after getting them. What do you all think? I really don't want to be sick when we get to meet our new little guy.

I want to say you shouldn't get the shot when you are feeling sick... But whoever is administering the shot can tell you for sure

If they will allow you to get the shot today I'd get it
You want to give it time to kick in and pass some of that immunity to the LO before he gets here

Exactly. They said to wait a few days. So that's what I'll do.

Man, just when I thought I was getting over it, a cough is developing. Grr. Don't want to be under the weather when we meet our baby boy next Monday.
