Hyperthyroid in pregnancy

Pretty rare but very treatable with medication. I was shaky in the beginning, literally. My hands would tremor, legs would shake. I would even have periods of dizziness- after the doctor did my pregnancy panel, we found that my thyroid levels were extremely high. (They aren't high outside of pregnancy.) Since I started the meds, I'm not as tired, I don't wake up feeling like I ran a marathon, and I don't lose my breath as easily. Yay. The medicine doesn't affect the baby's heart rate at all either. I'm very pleased with the treatment. The worry comes from excreting too much thyroid hormone and poising yourself and your unborn child.

Sent from my iPhone because I'm a cool mamma.

I have this too and had it before my first pregnancy. The meds help amd don't be surprised if they need to be adjusted as your pregnancy progresses. Mine was changed twice during my first.
I'm glad you feel better.
