As with everything else, it really depends on YOU more than the statistics
I'm currently expecting my 1st and we conceived on the 2nd cycle trying... I was 33 at the time

I was tracking my cycles via temping and ovulation testing because I wanted to help myself without making a big to-do over it (and avoiding getting stressed over the tracking process)

My unsolicited advice: when you two decide to start trying, just have fun with it. Try not to put an expiration date on it. You don't want to create a crappy self-fulfilling prophecy.

We are our most fertile in our early 20's, generally speaking. But we all know people who seem to get pregnant without trying when their partner just LOOKS in their direction, no matter their age
:P

When you do decide to try GOOD LUCK!!!
Good advice! I was thinking we would NTNP...but I am a POAS addict anyway LOL.
DH still is saying No, so we are likely out a few more months if he warms up. And I may decide against it, not sure.

Just jumping in to say that I had LO#1 at 36 after about 15 months of ttc, with a mc along the way. I am due with #2 and will be 38 at the time of birth. This took ONE month of NTNP. So, I don't think there are hard and fast rules.

So in other words, IF we decide on a 4th... We better be ready the first month?

Just my own experience /opinion - never had a reason to try as a 20 something. at 30, got pg 3rd cycle trying with DS1, had him when i was 31. At 31 got pg 3rd cycle trying with DS2, had him when I was 32. At 33 got pg 3rd cycle trying but had an early m/c and then got pg 2 weeks after my m/c and am currently almost 14 weeks. I think it's less about age in the early-mid 30's and more about being healthy, active, etc. I'd say don't expect a problem until you know for sure there is one! Good luck!!!

YES! My 1st took over a year to conceive, my 2nd about as long, but with 2 m/c before. This one? First cycle of even thinking about trying! I was 27, 30 and now 33.
