Other comment: This loss hit us very hard and I actually quit my job because of it. I went into a deep depression. I came out of it a better person! I found God and put Him and my family before anything else! I am truly blessed and I love the fact that I have an angel up there waiting for me! My heart needs another child to love! Being a mommy is the thing that keeps me going! We have a 2 1/2 year old little girl and she is our world! We just want to make our world much, much bigger!

Type of Loss:subchorionic hemmorhage resulting in a complete placental abruption at 20 weeks and 5 days.
Date start of TTC A/L: It's still so fresh, only 6 weeks and 3 days since our loss, so scared to try just yet.
Other comment: She was going to be our third baby and our second girl. We were excited and a little scared because I'd given birth 7 months earlier. At 5 weeks I had some light bleeding and was diagnosed with a subchorionic hemmorhage (blood clot seperating a small part of my placenta) I was put on strict bed rest for 15 weeks, clot was geting smaller when I woke up Friday 3/28/08 at 2 am because I felt some pressure like I was losing a blood clot. Made it to the bathroom in time to bleed out on the floor. I was scared and hoping that it was just the SCH. We rushed to the ER and found out at 6 am that things were looking grim. My peri came to do another ultrasound and discovered the abruption. He was just as surprised as we were because the clot was going away and we'd just seen him the Monday before with no sign of the abruption. It shouldn't have happened. I don't drink smoke do drugs I didn't fall down or anything and aside fromt he SCH nothing else was wrong. I was asked about funeral arrangements and completely broke down. I was sent to Rush here in Chicago to deliver her because there was no chance for her or me to make it to at least 24 weeks. I was given blood tranfusions and had her 3/30/08. My Husband, Mom, Aunt and sisters sat in the room with me until I delivered. She stayed with us for 44 minutes and passed away in her Daddy's arms. I've never been so devestated in my life. I have two other children that were uneventful pregnancies. I want another baby but I am scared because I cannot go through all that again, and neither can my family. Hoping to get past my fears so we can have another one.
