BFP after a mc!

Hey guys,
I just wanted to share my story.
I was in the may 2014 ddc but had a mc at 8 weeks = devastation, especially over the holidays... when we were supposed to be sharing the great news.
Regardless, I knew I would be ovulating a little after christmas... so we did what we needed to do... and Sunday January 12 (AF 1.5 days late), we tested and got a BFP!

I went to doc on Tuesday for beta and the number is good: 387!! progesterone 37!!

I know you can't compare between pregnancies, but these numbers are much higher than last time, so I'm trying to be optimistic.

I return today for my second Beta and will get results Friday... let's hope for a good doubling time!
With that said... it's still hard to enjoy this... there i always fear. I envy those women that have never gone through this, but at the same time, I know that going through all of this has given me more insight and appreciation for the miracle that is happening... I know I won't ever complain about morning sickness!!
So, I wish a happy ending to all of us out there... hopefully we can celebrate the births of our rainbow babies soon!
I'll update with more news tomorrow.
Thanks!

Congratulations!! So happy you are going to get your rainbow. You are right, a loss certainly changes your perspective on pregnancy. If I am lucky enough to get pregnant again, I will not take any of it for granted. Good luck with your test, I will be praying for great numbers and a sticky bean for you!

thanks guys... being hopeful and trying not to over analyze symptoms, lack of symptoms, changing of symptoms, etc... counting the hours until we get #s back... and we've decided that if numbers look good, we ARE going out to buy something for the baby!! enjoy what little victories we have!
