Question QOTW: #2 Adaptive Living

Is there anything in your life (regarding your special needs child) that you had to adapt to or do something to "better the life" of your child?

It could be changing of a diet, sensory, moving to a better place with better schools or schools that is fit for a child with Autism, etc. What did you have to do or your child to adapt to their surroundings?

I think we are still coming to terms with our son's needs and making adjustments. He was diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum (PDD-NOS). We continue to learn more about him every day! I know that we try harder now not to put him in situations where we know he wont do well or can't handle. I am much more selective about the invitations we select (birthday parties, social gatherings, etc.).
