Weird Things They Say

I tried to quote it on Facebook but scrambled it all up. Facebook punishes people who like to go back and edit so once you mess-up in your status update, it's over.

Vent over, on to content:

Talia and I had a conversation at lunchtime that went something like this:

Mom: You have to be older to get married
Talia: No, I AM married!
Mom: No, first you have to grow up and go to college and THEN you get married
Talia: Ok. I will go to college after we watch Sesame Street. O.K.?

Good plan!

What are some preschooler quips that your little ones have been saying?

Yay for college!

Marshall has picked up on teasing. I was teasing him today with popcorn, saying that I was just making it for me and he couldn't have any. After it was made he took it and started saying "Only for Marshall, not for mommy".

That is so cute.

Juliana is on a wedding kick. After having her little friend over last weekend, She told me:

Juliana: Mom I want to marry Josh on top of the water slide.
Mom: Really? Your dress will get all wet
Juliana: No, I will have a wedding bathing suit
Mom: Where will you get that?
Juliana: You will buy it for me at the wedding store and then I will get maried and Ella will say "Here come Joshua and Juliana N..."

The way she said the last part was just the way a dj announces a couple. Totally cracked me up.

A wedding bathing suit is a very reasonable request. Let's hope it's not Vera Wang and $35,000!
