I am from Arkansas! I love it. I live in Searcy which is about an 30-45 min north of Little Rock along the freeway... It is nice. It isn't a super busy state. We have a lot of Southern Hospitality *some people can be rude though... I mean they are people... And they tend to give us a bad name* We have pretty tourism spots lots of great scenery and lots of history. The weather tends to be strange and erratic but that makes it interesting. I have never lived anywhere else and I don't plan to! If you want a good small town *about 18,000* my hometown is *according to our motto* Where thousands live and millions wish they did.. and i think it is quite true!

I grew up in Southern Illinois but spent a lot of time in the northern AR forests and rivers. It's a very pretty state.

Mammoth Spring is Arkansas's largest spring and the second largest spring in the Ozark Mountains. A National Natural Landmark, the spring flows nine million gallons of water hourly. Forming a scenic 10-acre lake, it then flows south as the Spring River, a popular Ozark trout and float stream. Located near the spring, the park's 1886 Frisco depot will take you back in time to an early 1900s train station. Parked just outside the train station is a Frisco caboose to explore, too.

We have at Little Rock AFB for almost 4 years now, and it's great. We just bought a house off base and plan on staying here for a while! There really isn't much to do it seems but we love the base and it's nice most of the time weather wise. If you are into hiking and doing nature stuff then it's the perfect state for you lol!
