im feeling a little kookoo he remains the same
Hello ladies... well I'm getting to the point I'm feeling like I'm going insane Saturday is my 20th birthday and still no pregnancy I have been trying on and off since I was 18 but we just started consistantly this past june. Rj already has one dd. And he doesn't think its a big deal he believe it will happen when it happen, that maybe the case but I really feel like there is something wrong with me? I have done the charting, the opk, bding every day or every other day and sometimes not bding all month only in my fertile days. I have had my hormones checked and had a pelvic u/s to check for cycst on my ovaries they even checked the lining of my uturs. I have tried baby asiprin,I tried fertility tea, preseed, clomid, fertility cm,geritol,I've also been taking vitamins with 400mg of folic acid.....I even tried not trying and still nothing. I suppose the doctors doesn't take me seriously because of my age and has told me it will happen and I shoulds try the clomid a little longer...idk why when I know I'm ovulating
Maybe you ladies can help me out
My periods are normal but extreamly heavy and that doesn't seem normal I also grow hair almost every were on my stomach chin and breast....I know tmi sorry I thought it was symptoms od pcos but I have no cycst..none showed on the u/s and I ovulate on my own any advice?

Aww honey Maybe it's time to talk to a new Dr and see what they have to say. You may need someone who is a little bit more proactive. I know it sucks and we're here for you.

I totally agree with Amy I would look for another Dr. who is more in tune with your needs regardless of what your age may be.

Just because you don't have any visible cysts doesn't mean you don't have PCOS. I didn't have any when I first got checked (I do now..) and my doctor still diagnosed me.

Yeah, bloodwork is usually involved in diagnosing PCOS, not just ultrasounds. I would follow the other girls' advice about finding a new dr. Just because he's supposed to be your partner in all this. Even if he doesn't agree with what your reasoning is, he should explain to you why or why not. As far as the hair, you could have elevated hormones (probably testosterone) causing that, but not necessarily have PCOS. And if you ovulate on your own there's really not point to taking clomid as that's what it's for.
When you say this past June do you mean June of 2009? If so, that's hardly enough time to worry. Keep in mind you usually should try "methods" for 3-6 months. So all those things you mentioned - clomid, not "trying", supplements, etc - could take years to determine which really works! Perfectly normal healthy couples can take up to a year on average to conceive. I think RJ has the right idea ;-) just enjoy the practice!
