Well, I'm not quite sure the cause of my infertility quite yet, but I had my first appt today and am on the road to figuring it out. All I know is, my doc says the chances of me getting pregnant without medical help at this point are pretty much zero. He has a few idea's at what it could be....PCOS, a thyroid issue....or maybe something else but hopefully I'll find out soon. I had blood drawn today and I go in for an U/S tomorrow to check out what's going on down there.

So maybe I don't know what's wrong yet, but I guess I belong here now. It's pretty upsetting too. But oh well, I'll get through it. We all will!

I have a feeling my stay here is going to be another long one, but hey, it's ok. At least I'm beginning the process, and hopefully soon we'll start the treatment....for whatever it is that's wrong anyway!

I'm sorry you had to move over here, but you're in good company at least. (silver lining, maybe?) I know how frustrating it is...especially when you first begin tests and all that jazz, but keep your chin up. We will all get our BFP's! I hope they can figure out what is going on fast and you can start taking steps to correct it!

And I just have to add I don't think it's fair for your dr to tell you your chances of conceiving *before* he even knows what's wrong. I think he's jumping the gun and upsetting you prematurely, or unnecessarily.

That's true but still, it's better in my opinion to expect the worst but hope for the best.
