My daughter absolutely loves to play with playdough, and my husband loathes spending money on it. The best compromise? Ha! Making our own!

A big thanks goes out to Angela for sharing her playdough recipe!

Kool-Aid Playdough

2 cups flour
1 cup salt
4 tsp cram of tartar
4 tsp baby oil
2 cups water
Kool-Aid of your choice

Mix all ingredients together over medium heat until they form a solid mass (looks like mashed potatoes). Cover and cool for one hour. Kneed a little to get lumps out. Store in airtight container or baggies.

Last between 1-2 months.

Love this! The kool-aid will add color and scent rather than that gagging smell other playdough has! Can’t wait to try it!
